Which I don't particularly understand why. Musical theatre is essentially derived from opera, and many operettas are basically musicals. The same can be said vice versa with many of Leonard Bernstein's musicals. More Comments | Reply |

Actually, by a few, he means most. Other than "Music of the Night," there are several famous arias from the world's most famous opera. And seeing as how "La Boheme" is listed in this database as musical theater, than so should these arias. More Comments | Reply |

That is correct - it was the Australian production (scenery & costumes) that were used for the London Production. These were designed by John Truscott who later designed the movie. Jacquelyn McKeever was bought out to play Guenevere (she had just been seen on Broadwayin Oh Captain!) More Comments | Reply |

After 'Camelot' opened on Broadway, the show was next seen in Australia. Paul Daneman played the part of 'Arthur' in Australia for over a year before returning to London to take over from Laurence Harvey, the original London 'Arthur', in February 1965. He continued to play the part at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane until it gave way to 'Hello Dolly' with Mary Martin. More Comments | Reply |

I said I was sorry...What else can I do?...This database has several recordings that are not commercial nor official (at least in spanish).....and they're listed here, confussing people..This is the first time that I really made a mistake...In the other cases I can ensure you that they were never realised..(like the argentinian versions of Victor Victoria, Les Miserables, Nine, Hello Dolly, and mexican version of Beauty and the Beast, among others)....Once you place your opinion here, there's no way to delete it...So...what could I do?...I said I was sorry, but at the same time, I can ensure you that I'm one of the biggest collectors of recordings of musicals in spanish, and there are many mistakes in this database...and is growing day by day...Anyone can add a recording with just good intentions...May be it's time for a little more control...I'm just trying to help here..Trying to make this data base bigger and reliable...
